I was adopted out of the Oakland Children's Home society. I was told my birth parents were not married and that my birth father was in the military (possibly the Navy?) I was also told that my birth mother was sent away from where she lived to have me and that my birth father wanted to keep me. Birth mother's family would not allow it. Possibly of Italian/Swiss descent.
