Additional Info
I was born 03-06-1962 (at approximately 0642) at Los Angeles County Hospital to a single, 17 year-old mother. I've been told I was given the birth name 'Corine/Corrine/Corina.'

The birth years for my biological parents, included here, might be off a bit.

I was placed in foster care during the six weeks my mother needed to be convinced to sign the paperwork, then legally adopted by Elmer George Kresge, Jr. and Mary Ann (n'ee Zemchak) Kresge, facilitated by the Los Angeles office of Robert Einstein, Esquire.

At the time their home was on Longhill Drive, Monterey Park. We moved to eastern Pennsylvania (Mt. Bethel) around Autumn of '62, and returned to Southern California in Spring of 1966/7.

My daughter, now 33 and mother of two young boys, has a serious genetic medical condition (TRP); it's crucial that we know more about our familial medical history; unfortunately, almost none is known of her father's family.

In addition, I've two sons in their twenties who would also gain benefit from knowing more about our inherited medical history.

I have no expectations of my birth mother/family and do not want to intrude upon anyone's life, although I am open to meeting them (& more) if they are interested.

The last name of my birth mother/her family is 'Smith' (of course 😉. I believe they lived in either North or South Carolina before California.

My maternal grandmother and 2 (?) aunts were nurses. My maternal grandfather worked in electronics in some way.

My birth mother had blonde hair, blue eyes, wore glasses, stood 4'11' and weighed 92 lbs.

She planned to return to high school after my birth and then enter nursing school.

My birth father was several years older than my birth mother; of 'hefty' build, 6'1, brown hair, 'part Italian' and worked as a lineman for the telephone (Edison-?) company. In addition, he was married, and already had two other children. (A random bit of trivia, he had an interest in photography.)

Diabetes was prevalent in both families.

I attempted to get my original birth certificate from the Los Angeles County Hall of Records in 1982, but the information was legally sealed, although I did receive the (hand-written) information included above.

My experience with my adoptive parents was/is regrettable, although I have two wonderful sisters (as is typical, their natural children, born one and three years after me) and some beloved extended family members and friends through my adoptive parents.

My children and I hope we can find some help with our situation.
Thank you.
