My adopted grandmama, Sara Eleanor Taft, adopted fathers mother, was a character actress in Hollywood in TV & Film. My adopted cousin said she met my birth mother, Dorothy, who worked in waredrobe and or costuming. Birth mother had children and couldn’t keep another child. My adopted parents had lost a son and Grandmama offered this solution. Adopted mother: Agnes Taft. Adopted father: Perry Taft. Adoption took place in Los Angeles. I grew up in San Francisco Bay Area in Atherton, next to Sandford.
