We have always had my mom's biological mom's name, but that was it. Her adoptive parents scribbled out her paperwork. Recently, my oldest sister did a mail in DNA test and it came back with a match for 1st/2nd cousin. She provided us with info about our possible grandfather, Christopher Misuraca. We then found a lead through ancestry.com for someone who shared the same mother. I touched base with her today and she says There's no way her mom had a child before her. I feel like she could be my mom's sister, but she doesnt want to know that. I'd like to find my moms adoption and birth records. I believe it was children's hospital in San Francisco. Case number 5542. Consent for adoption Jan 28, 1945 adoption filed march 26 1947.
