Marian told Frank that she had gotten pregnant as a result of a wartime romance which lasted from May 1943 to August 1943. (She was actually married to another man at this time--Frank H Leake, Jr.) Frank left to fight the war as a sailor and did not return until late 1944. At this time, Marian refused to see him, and relayed a message to him through her girlfriend that a healthy baby boy had been born and everything was just fine and taken care of. Frank Duzick is still alive and it appears that Marian might also be alive. She and Frank H. Leake had a daughter together--Virgina D. Leake.
