Additional Info
My son was born as Gage Daniel Boone on July 2nd 2008 and was adopted by another unknown family against my wishes because of child welfare services in 2011, I believe. My parental rights were terminated in May of 2011 in the County of San Diego at the Vista Courthouse. My son’s biological maternal grandmother wanted to adopt him and also had his birth sibling who loves him and misses him in her care, but Child Welfare Services already had Gage placed with a family who wanted to adopt him so as far as reuniting and keeping families together goes, that’s out the window with that organization. They lie to get those children placed for adoption and adopted out. I wonder why that is? It’s concerning. Anyways, I was not allowed the “Goodbye Visit” I was told I’d get to have with my son. No the last time I saw him I was told 5 min before the visit was over that I’d never see him again and that was in 2011. Although the family adopting my son had no objections to me being in his life still, Child Welfare Services had every excuse as to why they wouldn’t allow that. My son has a family here who really misses him and although he just turned 14 this year, I’d really like to see him again sooner rather than later. I’ve already missed so much of his childhood as it is. He’s got a brother, mother, grandmother, and father, along with other relatives who would really like to see him again in our lifetimes.
