My mother gave birth to more children than the 4 she kept. She was raised Catholic and abortion was not legal in calif in the 50s 60s and early 1970s. She told me that had it been she wouldn't have had any children . I am 11 months younger than a brother I grew up with. Im told by my aunt that my mom was pregnant from 1959 until the early 1970s. And that she gave up several babies for adoption. A female in approx april 1961 then again a female in approx august 1964 and a male in approx october or December 1967 and possibly a boy in 1968 and a girl 1971. If there are any adoptees born in Los Angeles who are trying to find birth relatives please if you were born on or near these months and years check the birth index search Duffy. You and me might be siblings. I'd love to meet a brother or sister or both. I have an aunt who possibly gave a couple of her babies up for adoption during those years as well and possibly as early as the early 1950s. Searching the ca birth index advance search Duffy and Duffy you might find a birthday that matches yours. Almost all of my families births and adoptions took place in Los Angeles county.
