Barbara gave birth to a child of unknown gender probably between the years of 1947 and 1950 -- I would guess 1949-ish, but I don't know for sure. Barbara and Louis were Highschool sweethearts both graduating from El Dorado Highschool in El Dorado, Arkansas. Louis went to LSU to play football, but returned and played a few seasons at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. I know for sure that he played the 1950 and 1951 seasons at SAU. Barbara's parents wouldn't allow them to keep the baby. I figure Louis left LSU and returned to Arkansas with the intentions of raising the baby and sarting a family. When Barbara's parents wouldnt allow it, I 'assume' this is when their relationship was ended as well. Louis was married to another woman by October of 1951. Louis and Barbara both went on to marry other people and raise families. They had contact throughout the years because Louis' brother was married to Barbara's sister, so Louis and Barbara had nieces in common. In 2002 Louis and Barbara reunited ( both of their spouses having passed away), and they married each other in February of 2003. Louis and Barbara have both since passed away, but the adopted child is still wanted to be found and connected with by our family!
