My sister Sharon passed away November of 2013. I had always wanted to find her baby that was put up for adoption in the 60's. Due to the man she was married to I was afraid she would get in trouble with him for he was an abusive husband but now I don't have to worry about him hitting her and I would like to find her child to let her know that her mom was a good person. My sister believed that she deserved the beatings she took from her husband b/c she had given up this baby away. It was not her that wanted to give the baby away it was my dad. He made her give the baby up b/c she was only a child herself. I know my sister thought about her daughter every day of her life. It is very important for me to locate this child. I think she was born Aug. 22, 1967. This could be wrong but it was in the 60sAs per my mom the adoption may have been private. I think the adoptive parents were friends of a Doctor that worked in Homestead Hospital. Her Doctors name was Dr. Melonosky ??
