My husband and I wrote a book together called ' Which One Am I? ' tracing the causes of his multiple personalities. During research we found that his birth father was not the man his mother had marrierpd. He was named for his birth father James Darrell Jackson, more commonly called Monkey. We were told Monkey had two other sons. The next youngest was Tim Spurgeon, son of Terri Sue Spirgeon. He had found Monkey years before us and developed a relationship. The Jacksons informed us Tim had drowned saving a small child though we can find no mention of such. We were told of a third younger half brother, though the only information provided was that his mother came from Oakland.

We did as much research as available with our resources in finding these brothers for my husband so we hope you can help. Ideally, we would hope there is a database somewhere of birth certificates and that, unlike James's mother did, Monkey would be listed as the father. There is also the possibility that someone who isn't us could get better info from Monkey's family. Much of what they told us turned out to be only legend. We really hope that the story of Tim's death turns out to be one as well.
