A bracelet was left on Crystal's hand that said Raliene Strait. I think it was the mother's name. The mother wanted to name her Tiffany, and wanted to meet her one day. The mother was Caucasian and of German & Irish descent. Her family didn't want a half Black child. The father was Black & heading to college. His parents were well off & didn't want the child to interfere with his life plans. Our name when we adopted Crystal was William and Cheryl Leach, and we lived in Rochester, NY. Crystal was only four days old when we took her home.
