I am a twin and we were adopted together: Neal Joseph Carter is his adoptive name. We were in a minimum of two foster homes before being adopted legally at three-years-old. Our birth/first mother died when we were 2-years-4-months-old. I would *love* to connect with other birth family members.

I don't know for certain what our birth names were. I'm guessing here.

I don't know for certain if my birth father's name is Billy Thompson. My adoptive mother *mentioned* it a year ago, but said she didn't know anything else. She told me that he was a bartender at the time, and he and my birth/first mother were not married.

My first/birth mother, Marjane, died Nov 21, 1986 and her burial listing apparently says 'Maryjane' or 'Mary Jane.' Although, I have a social security application from when she was 17 that says 'Marjane' and says that she was born in New York. I know that both of her parents and her brother are buried with her in St. Raymond Cemetary (Old Cemetery, Range 7, Grave #86). Her parents names were Roque Luis Martinez and Libertad Rivera, and brother Roque Luis Martinez. I believe that Roque senior was a twin, Carmen.

My birth/first mother Marjane's was Puerto Rican. This has been supported through DNA testing (23andMe and Ancestry). She applied for and successfully received her first social security number at 17-years-old.

It appears that my first/birth mother Marjane always lived in NY, but I don't know that for certain. She was a teacher, but I do not know of what.

Last known address for my first/birth maternal grandparents was 1266 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY.

First/birth mother Marjane's address on October 31, 1968 was 1051 Tiffany St, New York, NY 10459.
