I was only left with non-identifying background information from the California Children’s Home Society where I was adopted from:

Birthmother:
-She was 20 years old at the time of my birth (I was born in March of 1982 in Orange County California)
-She had green eyes, light brown hair, fair complexion, 5’ 7’’ at around 125 lbs.
-born in Southwestern part of the U.S. and her religion was Catholic
-at the time of my birth she lived on her own and worked as a delivery person and took night classes in college. She wanted to be a loan officer or an accountant (assuming maybe that is what she does now?)
-she enjoyed water skiing
-she smoked cigarettes
-she said in the adoption paperwork that she wanted me to have both parents that could provide financial security and a loving home with a father figure (since my birthfather terminated his rights by the courts). She also had ended up relinquishing her rights.

Birthmother’s family
-she said in the paperwork her father was of French/Irish decent and her mother was adopted
-Her father was 59 years old (when she was pregnant with me), 6’2’’ 185 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes
-Her mother was 50 years old, 5’11’’ 155lbs. with brown hair and green eyes
-both of her parents enjoyed guns and camping
-both of her parents worked in the occupation of Areospace
-both parents were aware of my birthmother’s pregnancy with me
-her grandparents on her father’s side passed away in their 20’s or 30’s for unknown reasons (or reasons she must not have been aware of)
-she had a brother and a sister: at the time of her pregnancy with me, her brother was 16 years old, 6’0’’, 130 lbs, with dark brown hair and brown eyes, and was in the 11th grade at that time
-her sister was 26 years old, 4’11’’, 150 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes and had children of her own
-both her brother and sister were aware of the pregnancy as well

Birthfather:
-was 24 years old at the time of my birth
-5’8’’ at 150-160 bs. With brown hair and blue eyes and a medium complexion
-he enjoyed the outdoors and working on cars and was easy going

The adoptive paperwork stated that my birthparents had known each other for 3 years prior to dating and that they had dated for 2 years. The birthfather was not ready for parenthood and their relationship had fallen apart soon after.
