My Mother's sister and her husband adopted me. So obviously I know my Mother's side of the family. I was never able to get any information from my (adoptive) parents, and they have both passed in the last few years. I don't really have a close relationship with my birth mother anymore and I've always been very apprehensive about asking her any questions. The only thing I've ever been told was that my birthday father had red hair. Not a lot to go on. I would be grateful for anything, even if it's just a name.
