It's said that my biological mother died in 1977 in Long Beach, California. I was 16 months old. My biological mother's sister Sharyn and her husband took me at my biological mother's time of death and moved me to Washington State where they lived. They adopted me. The adoption went through in 1979. My now parents have never really given me much information on my biological parents. I'd like to find out as much as I can about my biological mother even though deceased. I would also like to find my biological father & any family members whom I have never met. I only know my biological fathers name because I have a birth announcement that shows his name as Richard, plus his first and last name of Richard Pierce are listed in my adoption paperwork. Other than that, I have no information on him. I am assuming he knew of me since his name was on the birth announcement. The adoption paperwork states that he abandoned me, but I don't know that to be true. Maybe he just didn't know where I had gone after my biological mothers death.
