Additional Info
Hello, I hope all is perfect!
I just retired from a 24 year career in the United States Air Force and moved to the beautiful country of Greece. One of my goals after I retired is to write a book a semi auto-biography to help others that may have gone through what I have as a child. You see, my mother died when I was 13 and I went from group home, boys home, juvenile detention and foster homes until I “aged out” of the “system” at 19.
It was then that I decided that I didn’t want to stay in California, gang banging, running with the “wrong crowd” and doing all the bad stuff I did. So, I joined the Air Force I actually didn’t pass the exam (ASVAB) to get in the first time I took it, but I was determined, took it again and scored high enough. Thus beginning my WONDERFUL 24 year career in the Air Force.
My background has led me to be able to influence many people, young and old. I’ve owned and operated martial arts schools, sit as the VP of the Board of Directors for a nonprofit for at-risk youth, created my own Martial Arts Mentoring Program for at-risk youth as well as kids locked up in detention and in group/foster homes. I’ve also had the opportunity to become a professional motivational speaker, engaging with organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, THRIVE Baltimore, CASA and TESSA.
Now that I’m retired, living in Greece and writing my book and doing some family research and I’m hitting a brick wall. I haven’t seen my father since I was about 9, I have a sister that I haven’t seen since my mother passed away when I was 13 and for some odd reason none of my family came forward to adopt me when she passed away. I was completely alone until I started my own family my son is actually in the Air Force and my daughter is in school to be a Radiologist in Virginia.
So, my point in writing you is to seek a little help. I’ve seen that you have reunited families in the past and obviously you have the resources to do just that. I’m not sure if it may be too hard for your staff but, I would LOVE some help in this area of my left now.

Thanks so much!
