I was born in Greenpoint Hospital in Brooklyn New York on August 27, 1971. My birth name was Craig and my adoptive parents (two New York City school teachers) kept that first name. I know I have several older siblings. I was placed in NYC Foster Care, before the Sisters of Mercy through Angel Guardian (now mercyFirst) helped with my adoption. I think I was in several Foster situations before being adopted. I think my birth mother was Polish or Polish American. Her last name may have been Czaplowski, but I have no confirmation on that and not sure on the spelling. My birth father may have been Italian or Italian American.
