My maiden name and name at the time of the adoption is Ligia F. Borge, my date of birth is 4/23/1947 and was born in Costa Rica. I'm the birth mother searching for my biological son, born in Berkeley CA at Alta Bates Summit Hospital on 2/5/1968. I believe I used the adoption agency Children's Home Society, but I have not been able to find them since 1989, at which time they said the records were closed. The name I gave to the adoptee was Fredrick Michael Borge. I kept my rights to see him for the three days we were in the hospital and then released him to the adoption agency. They told me he was adopted immediately to a family in Berkely CA with two previous children, they were both school teachers. The only information I have on the biological father is that he is from El Salvador.
