I know my birth mother was very young and lived in a facility for pregnant women until she had me in October 1968. The adoption went through Cathlic Charaties. I think I was born in Philadelphia in October and was adopted through the Media, Pa courts in December of that year. I did get in touch with Cathlic Charties years ago. I was trying to get medical information and all they could tell me was that my birth mother was very young and my bith father had a minor back problem. Although I would love to meet my birth parents my main reason for doing this is for medical information. My daughter has some medical issues and we really need all the medical back ground information we can get to help her.
