My birth mother came over from England with her family when she was 13 years old. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She was the oldest of 5 children. Her father died at 45 years old of emphazema. She quit school to get a job and help take care of her younger siblings.
My birth father was Filipino and was with the Navy. I believe he was stationed at the Sub Base in Groton, CT. I don't think he knew about the pregnancy or knows that I exist.
My birth mother had me when she was 18 years old. She had given birth to another little girl two years earlier when she was 16 that was put up for adoption. Our fathers are different. I would love to find my half-sister as well.
I am grateful for her sacrfice and putting me up for adoption. I want to thank her and let her know that I love her for that.
