Birth Mother and birth Father are said to have been attending UCDavis when I was conceived. Mother is African American and birth Father, Creole. Both birth parents are from the Oakland area. When mother was pregnant, father apparently left college, enlisted in the military and died before I was born.
Birth Mother was an only sibling to older parents. It is,said that birth Father's mother was prejudiced, controlling and overbearing, which resulted in my adoption being a 'closef' adoption.
I was in children's Home Society in Alameda County, adopted by December 1967. Adopted parents are passed away. They lived in Salinas, CA.
According to Ancestry.com, I am 26 European, mostly Ireland and 73 African American from Ivory Coast, Mila, Benin and Congo.
