I think my birthplace may be incorrect on my birth certificate. There is no hospital listed. It states that I was born in Chico, California, but in light of incorrect racial information provided by the Children's Home Society of California, I am now wondering if the birthplace is also incorrect. My amended birth certificate incorrectly states that my adoptive mother's birth place is Riverside, California. My adoption decree says that I was born in Chico, California, and it lists my name as Baby Girl Carpenter.
