I love my dad, who adopted me after marrying my mom. He's my hero and nobody can ever take his place!! I want to know the truth, however, which was hidden from me for 42 years. My parents went so far as to destroy adoption records when my mother knew she was dying of cancer. She made everyone promise never to let me find out,,,,but I did, inadvertently from an Ancestry.com search 3 years ago. Thanks for your help!!
