My birth certificate was filed on Christmas Eve 1964. My adoption took place on St. Patrick's Day 1965 at the Scranton Electric Building. Judge John J Sirotnak presided. St. Joseph's Children's and Maternity Hospital brokered my adoption. Marie Pritchyck was the case worker. My mother did not list my father on my original birth certificate. I have found him via ancestry dna. He has dementia and no recollection of my mother or their time together. Parental rights were relinquished on January 14, 1965. I want to find my birth mother for medical reasons and to let her know that I am well and had a wonderful childhood.
