I'm not sure what year my Pop was born. Both Maw and Pop have passed away. I have one full brother that was adopted out when born, and one half sister that was adopted out when born. I was too young to know about you guys. It became known to me only about 10 years ago. I want to know the both of you if you want to get together and meet and then decide from there what to do. You both are precious to me as you are my YOUNGER Brother and Sister, and I was the last one my mom kept. There were 5, and then 4 of us growing up somewhat together (Mom had a son, Johnny, who is fully autistic and living in a facility in Handford now, I believe. I never got to know him - my Pop took me to see him ONE time and that was it. Johnny can't talk at all.

As well, our whole family is musical in some way. I am kind of the black sheep youngest that grew up with this family as for 24 years, I moved to Los Angeles (San Gabriel) and worked downtown as a Legal Secretary. I went to visit when I could, but worked a LOT of overtime and lots of weekends. I also became a pro dancer (ethnic Brazilian Samba and Foclorico) and learned Brazilian Portuguese myself and my friends correcting me. Then became a full percussionist (with all the bells and whistles). Never was close to my sister - she hated me growing up because mom made me go with her all the time, or one of my brothers. We had a love/hate relationship, but now my sister and I just do not speak and she and my oldest brother who threw me against a wall, making a hole, police came, etc. - he never talks with me anymore because he remembers it a different way. I had a friend staying the night and he didn't know she was there. My sister has played head games with me for my whole life. Mom was manic-depressive and was super cool and nice when things were exactly as she wanted, but she became manically abusive to Pop and us kids. Very scary growing up - you don't even want to know all of it. Unless you do, then we can get together.

One brother plays music for the dying through our local Hospice and often plays at care facilities (no lie, he is awesome at his music). Sister plays a little piano and started doing some art I guess. OH, Mom was an Artist - she had jobs after the divorce in 1969, but her love was that of painting, drawing, creating. She passed away just last year on April 15, 2014.

Pop passed away on February 1st, 2005 - that's when I moved back from L.A.

I stopped playing percussion, was too fat (lol) to dance anymore, became very depressed (which I've always had a problem with Major Depression and Anxiety diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depression and Anxiety. I am also diagnosed with G.E.R.D., a Hiatal Hernia and Colitis. All of my family has anxiety issues and it's never really been like a real family. My mom got mad a lot. I didn't even go to her memorial even though I helped a lot in taking care of her at the Care Center, taking her to drs., etc. Long story.

Anyways, I'll stop now, except to say that I'm pretty much a recluse now and love animals more than anything I volunteered for years at a kill shelter, did adopt-a-pets on weekends and fostered newborns on a few occasions. I love 3 toe'd sloths VERY much and have been to Brasil and got to hold one in the Amazonas. Went to Europe with one band. And that's it for now. Would love to know about you two!! REALLY WANT TO MEET WITH YOU GUYS (guy and gal). I really want to know about the adoption and when you found out, how you felt about it and if you're doing okay and everything you're willing to share, I would LOVE to hear.

With MUCH love and care, your blood-sister, Julie O'Connell
