I was adopted into the Bazaldua family as an infant. Formal adoption was a year later. I remember seeing my adoption papers as one point with the following...The infant child known as __________ ___________ Duarte, shall now be known as Jeanette Marie Bazaldua. That is all i know about my adoption. I was raised and grew up in Burbank California. My adoptive parents were born in Texas, and many of our relatives still live there. I do have a suspicion that I could actually be from the same family as my adoptive family. Maybe an unplanned pregnancy or some other circumstance? My adoptive mother was said to have had many miscarriages. She did have one natural child and then started to adopt. I was one of 2 children they adopted. None of my siblings are blood related. I have relatives from my adoptive family by the name of Duarte, but no one seems to be able/willing to tell me anything. I would very much like to know more about my natural birth family so that I can give my own children a sense of family on my side of things.
