I was placed in foster care through Wyoming County Social Services at 5 days old after being given up for adoption. My foster parents adopted me. The lawyer that handled my adoption was Harry Brown and the doctor that delivered me was Dr. CH Harville, I was told. I recently found out I have 3 older bio-siblings and 2 younger bio-siblings. My bio-fathers occupation was listed as farmer. The two younger bio-siblings are a sister born in 1970 and a brother born in 1967 and they were also surrendered for adoption. They are both registered with the NY state adoption registry but only one of them returned the final consent form. According to NY state guidelines, if all parties do not return the final consent form, no information can be released.
