Additional Info
I had a foster sister during the summer of 1961 who came to live with my parents from California. Her father a Mr. Scott brought the baby to Oregon in the late Spring or early summer. My parents intended to adopt her but the birth mother, a Mrs. Ruhland, changed her mind. Her name was Theresa Scott, she had a sister Diane who came in late August to get her. My parents gave her a different name, Donna Joyce, but I presume that name was dropped when she returned to her family in California. I have several pictures of Theresa from that summer that I would like to share with her.
