My birth mother was 24 yrs old when I was born. She was separated from her husband at that time. Conflicting records exist as to which doctor delivered me, either Dr Robert Cassidy or Dr Stewart Haas. My adoption was handled by Dr. Haas. The consent for Adoption was signed on Dec 21st, 1959 by my birth mother, an identical consent was signed by my birth father also on Dec 21st, 1959. My adoption was finalized in Date County Court on May 19, 1960, Case No 60C-405-D. I do know that my birth mother had an abortion in 1956 - I would really like to find her or any of my birth family to learn more and to thank my birth mother. I owe her every day of my life.
