My mother gave birth to a baby boy in a catholic home for unwed mothers in Lackawanna, NY (could have been Father Baker's Home for Unwed Mothers)on June 2nd, 1957 (although at times she has said June 3rd and June 4th of that year). She is Irish and believed he went to an Irish Catholic family. She married my father after leaving the home and went back to get her baby boy after a couple months. It is her wish to find him and she has asked me to help her. He has 5 half siblings and we are all wanting to find him as well. I do know the name of his father but it was not put on the birth certificate. Michael Collins is the name she gave him but I am sure he was renamed when he was adopted.
