Additional Info
I am the daughter of the adoptee John Soto trying to find any biological relatives of my dad. He was born in 1955 to a woman who was 1 of 14 other children. Both of her parents were born here in the U. S. The only non identifying information that I have is a letter from the case worker (whose name is signed Mrs. Mary H. Statham) addressed to my dad's adoptive parents. The letter states a brief discription on the biological Mother's background explaining that she was born in the U.S. in 1931, had 13 siblings, 4 of whom were married at the time (2 sisters and 2 brothers). The rest were of school age. She was 5' 7', black hair, brown eyes, very light complexion and only completed the 8th grade, because she had to work to help the family. The only info it gives on the biological father is that he was born in 1926 in Mexico, and was a truck driver. He was 5' 7 black hair brown eyes light complexion, and attractive in appearance. The only clue to a biological last name came from my grandpa who vaguely remembers the last name possiably being Sierra like the mountains, not to sure of the spelling or how valid this info is because of his memory, he is old now and cannot remember much about the details of the adoption. I have faith knowing someone out there is searching for my dad, if not his bio mom, than aunts/uncles. There were 13 siblings that must have some information as to why their sister gave my dad up for adoption.
