Additional Info
I was told that my birth mother was a resident in the California Youth Authority at the time of my birth, she was 20 years old. I believe I was given what proved to be a false birth certificate by my adoptive mother that listed my birth name as Sheryl Denise Patterson, however no child by that name was born in Ca. during the year of my birth. I was told that before my adoption I was placed with a family who abused me and I was removed by social services. in my mother's things I found part of a state file that was mostly blacked out but had the state File # 55-231470. I don't know if that can help..... I also discovered some blacked out paperwork with the names Dr. R. W. Holk and Attorney Ellis D. Sox but I was unable to locate either man.
