My maternal grandfather was a painter and committed suicide approx. 1950.
My maternal grandmother remarried. She had a twin brother and sister.
It is believed the family actually lived in North Syracuse.
My mother dropped out of H.S. 2 yrs early to work and help the family financially.
She worked as a store clerk then manager for a local chain.
She was petite and bubbly with very curly blonde hair.
She had a brother 2 yrs younger who graduated H.S. and went into the service. They were very close.
My birth was difficult and there was doubt I would survive.
Her step-father helped with birth expenses.
My initial foster-mother was an R.N. due to the birth trauma.
The adoption worker's name was Mrs.Caroline Ruhe.
The adoption judge was Leo J. Yehle, Children's Court. He signed the adoption order on January 5th, 1956.
