My adoptive parents were not reliable sources of information but said my birth mother was of French descent and my birth father of German descent. They were reportedly not married at the time of my birth and my birth mother supposedly had several other children. When I was about 1 year old, my birth mother took my adoptive parents to court to try to get custody of me and failed.
