Your birth mother was born in 1937 in New Haven, CT. She was the oldest of four children. She was described as a happy, well-adjusted girl, who was often quiet. She was said to be a good student and was in her junior year of high school. She was particularly interested in sewing. She had a heart murmur as a baby but had outgrown this condition and was said to be otherwise healthy.
Birth father had worked at the grocery store owned by maternal grandparents. There was an accusation that he was fired from the store and got mother pregnant to get back at her father, but he denied this and said that he left his job due to a misunderstanding. Father had finished the seventh grade at school and then worked doing store work, working in a nursery, and was then doing precision casting. He had also worked in the stables at Connecticut College. His mother was said to be in poor health, although the cause is unknown. He was planning on joining the marines.
