I am helping a friend locate her birth mother. Yolanda was told she was born on June 7, 1951, by a Foster mom who told her the date she came with was wrong. She was told her birth was in Fresno or Tulare County, CA. She was left on the steps of a Catholic church in that area. She remembers being in an orphanage and then foster homes in Fresno, Tulare, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and finally Chula Vista, CA, at 13 years old. She lived with Arthur and Consuelo Payan in San Diego, CA until 18 years old. Then moved out. She has a DNA test but not finding family matches yet. Yolanda's DNA results show her as 64% North, Central and South American with a scattering of other nationalities.
