Additional Info
We know very little about the birth parents except they were not married, the father was much older than the mother, and she was labeled as mentally retarded. My mother was born somewhere in Alabama and lived in several foster homes until my grandparents adopted her when she was 4 (1953-1954). She was adopted from Jackson , MS but we don't know the name of the agency. My grandparents were Horace and Juanita Goodman and they lived in Meridian, MS. \n\nWe are not positive that Linda Sharon Booth was my mother's name. It could have been her birth mother's name or very possibly the aunt that surrendered her in her mother's name. \n\nMy son is sick with a terrible disorder called MECP2 duplication and my nephew just lost his life to it at 24 years old. We are desperate for medical information.
