My birth name was Carol Ann Petrano (I believe) I was on June 28th 1949 at 3:20 pm, my adoption was through Talbot Perkins when they closed Spence Chapin took over the records.

My maternal mother was 19 years old Italian and my father was 20 years old of Mexican decent. They lived next door to one another in Brooklyn, my adoption was finalized on June 6th 1950.

My mother was 5' 2' weight 108lbs brown hair and hazel eyes, Catholic and was an office worker, her parents My mother was born in the US and my grandfather was born in Italy and worked in a chemical plant. My mother had two sisters and four brothers.

My father was 20 years old 6' 2' & 180lbs brown hair and eyes. He graduated high school and went to college and was labeled a Jr. Chemist. My grandparents were from Mexico, grandfather worked in a knitting mill. My birth father had two brothers and two sisters.

My mother was in a shelter and had written to Talbot house six weeks before I was to be born, I was born a few weeks past my due date.

I was in the hospital for 13 days before they sent me to a foster home. When I was 13 weeks old my mother signed my adoption papers. on November 17th,1949 I was 22 weeks old, I was legally adopted by Michael and Cocetta Petrizzo in Brooklyn.
