I was told that my Birth mother was from upstate New York and given a one-way ticket to California and her pastor at a Catholic church facilitated the adoption. My Birth mother was young, with dark hair. It was a private adoption arranged by Dr. Fiegel for his son, Frank Fiegel and daughter-in-law, Marian Fiegel. I believe the exchange took place on 12/07/46 outside St. Bernadine's Hospital.
