I was born full term at 9:16 am on July 20, 1946 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. I weighed 7lbs. 2 ounces and was in good health at birth. I was adopted by Fred Donald McGinnis and his wife Lucille Georgia McGinnis. My birth mother was Caucasian/Irish and was born in Oklahoma. She moved to California in 1941, five years prior to my birth. My birth mother was 20 years old at time of my birth. She stood 5' 6 1/2' tall and weighed 100 lbs. She had dark brown hair, blue eyes and a medium complexion. She was musically inclined and played the piano well. She had one sister who was 22 years of age at my birth and one half-brother who was 48 years of age at my birth. I also had two half-brothers at the time of my birth who were 2 and 3 years of age. My birth father was Caucasian and 23 years of age at my birth. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a professional singer at the time of birth. He was 5'8', medium build, sandy hair and blue-gray eyes. To my knowledge, my birth father was never aware of my birth.
