I only found out 5 years ago that my younger sister and I were adopted. My father is 100 yrs old now and recalls nothing. All of my relatives who would have had some information are now dead. From what my Father told me, my mother was a Law student at Loyola Law school in Los Angeles and my Father was a navy pilot. The adoption was arranged through the president of the Law school through an attorney names John Hiss. The hospital was listed only as Torrance, CA, but I believe there was a woman's hospital there at that time. There may also be a connection with St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach or with my uncle Father Joseph Schnieders
