I have very little (next to none) information unfortunately. I am looking for my grandmothers half sister who was given up some time around the 1940s. Probably as a baby. We know it was a girl, but we do not know her mother’s name. Just the fathers(my great grandfather). Our family was living in Luzerne, Pa. at the time, so we would assume she was born in the area. My grandmother used to have more info than this, but she has since developed dementia and can’t remember anything, just that she had searched for her for a while. She also said the building that had her records burned down, but I’m not sure if that’s true since she said this more recently. I’m not sure if info on appearance matters here, but red/blonde hair runs on the fathers side of the family. Hazel eye color is common. As I have said, dementia could be an issue and several of our family members have bipolar disorder.
