Bmom ELSIE IRENE KETCHUM (BASSETT) approx 19. Elsie moved from Oklahoma to Pasadena CA was a student Bdad BENJAMIN FRANKLIN JACKMAN (Frank) approx 29-30 yrs old was married with children and resided in Pasadena CA. Frank worked as a tile setter and had children that attended local Pasadena schools. Frank and Elsie had a baby boy born at the Alta Dena Womens Home 8/27/1937. She placed the baby up for adoption. The baby was adopted at 6 wks old thru the Childrens Home Society of Los Angeles. Lavonne Stanton was the case worker.
It is likely that the Jackman family was never told of the baby boy due to his being already married. The Ketchum / Bassett family may have never been told about the baby either.
If you know anyone with the above last names that lives or had family that lived in these areas starting with Pasadena in 1937 please let us know. We have run into a dead end as records researched list siblings but no names or info.
