All I have is the newspaper article of the 'foundling' left on a doorstep of a farmhouse during the Great Depression. My mother's adoptive parents' brother was a sherriff at the time and took the premature baby to the hospital. She was approximately 2 1/2 pounds and was wrapped in a toddler's blue clothing. My adoptive grandmother was in the hospital for an appendectamy at the time the child was brought into the hospital and she and her husband adopted her. We have looked in the county census records and found a man with the name Krause who worked in the bank with my grandmother's sister, who she claims was the father. That is all we know... Please, help me find the descendants of my mother's biological blood line. I know it seems impossible, but perhaps, you can find my family.
