I am searching for a very close friend of mine that I have not seen in years. I consider him to be like a brother to me but due to unseen circumstances and moving alot plus being homeless as well as he was homeless we lost contact. His name is Ralph Gatlin Jr but also goes by RJ. He is 1/2 Jamaican and 1/2 Irish. He was born in Florida not sure what city but he did live in Miami for awhile and I believe his parents are still living there and he also has a son there. The last time I talked to him was a few years back just before hurricane Katrina when he finally emailed me at one of my old email addresses and gave me his phone number. At the time I was stranded and homeless in Aspen, Colorado. He was in New Orleans, Louisiana. He wanted me to come there to see him but unfortunately I did not have a way there. I talked to him over the phone on a daily basis until right before hurricane Katrina hit. He said that he was leaving but I do not know if he was able to or not. I went to New Orleans a few years later and asked around the homeless shelters where he said he was and was told they knew who I was talking about but had not seen him in a very long time. I honestly dont know if he passed away in Katrina or not. I met him while he was working for a traveling carnival in Houston, Texas. We started talking and hit it off and for a long time could not pry us apart. I do have 1 picture of him from years ago but that is it. If you think you might know him or think you might be him please contact me so I can finally end this search!
