This child was born out of wed-lock, the birth mother placed the child up for adoption. There was a letter sent to the home of the birth father (my birth father), asking if he wanted to go forward with a DNA and adopt his son/daughter. My father did not pursue the DNA test. I have now taken it upon myself to find my half brother/sister. Letter was sent from Newark, NJ in 2002. No knowledge of birth mother's name or child's name/gender/age. I believe my father's name was on the birth certificate.
