I am searching for the eldest daughter of my grandmother, Doris Hurley Veleke. Doris was living in Horicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin. She had an affair with the boss and became pregnant. She was forced to give her daughter up. This would have been after she graduated from high school in 1933 and before the birth of her daughter in 1942. I do not know if she gave birth in Horicon or was sent to a hospital in Milwaukee, the standard practice for unwed mothers in that time.
