There has been conflicting stories around the adoption. There was communication through letters sent by Children's Home Society Feb-July 2019. In July 2019 it was said that the adoptee didn't wish to have contact. At a young age and through the years, I have been told that the adoptive parents Were a teacher (mom) and something like an engineer (Dad).. They adopted a little girl and shortly found out they were having a son. They also had horses?... not sure if any of this is accurate. Since my search I have learned that the father listed on the adoption papers is NOT the birth father, just the boyfriend at the time.. Supposedly an older man from the neighborhood was the father and the birth mother was scared to relay this info to her own mother. She was sent to Children's home society a short time before the birth, and only had her step father and Brother visit. On the day of the birth, she went to a comic book store and her water broke. Her step father and her went to the hospital and he was the only family member to see the baby (He passed in 1993, year before I was born so I can't ask him info). I have a photo of the baby when she was around 6 or so months old .. Birth mother had communication through letters and photos but claims she didn't keep up with it due to immaturity at the time. I was told Birth mother named the baby Ashlee Renea Styons, and after letters in 2019 they were signed Jennifer ( Jenni)
