My firstborn son came into this world when I was divorced from a short-lived marriage. I was in a "bad place" emotionally and was seeing two young men simultaneously; thus there is a paternity issue. I, the birth Mom, am now 54. I have been married to my 2nd husband, James Carvin, for over 28 years and have two young adult sons from that 2nd marriage. James & I live in Tallahassee, FL presently. he knows about my past, loves me anyway, and hopes that one day I will reconnect with my firstborn son. I am reasonably happy, but not particularly healthy; having suffered a stroke in 2003 from which I am still partially paralyzed. I gave up my son for adoption hoping that he would have a better life than an immature, unmarried former bank teller living with older parents could have provided. I've prayed for Bradley/Michael all my life; hoping that he was [basically] happy. I'd love to meet him (now in his 30s) before I die, if he is willing.
