My name at the time of her birth was Carol Sue Fulghum but could have been spelled Fulgham due to an error on my birth certificate. She was born at the Polk General Hospital in Bartow, Fl. This adoption was handled by the Children's Home Society in Lakeland, Fl (on my end) with Kate Markley as the social worker I spoke with. I was told that my baby was taken directly into foster care from the hospital because I had not signed the adoption papers yet. . Her father and I are both white, and we both live in Lakeland, fl.
